It’s a lovely European city that really does nothing for me. Just saying. Stayed at the Widder hotel that is very cool and the attention to detail works. It’s a very comfortable hotel in the old part of the city with great service. It’s one of my favourite hotels.
Pretty cool that they make cards for the guests. Still have the ones from when I stayed here eight years ago.
Lift shaft and centuries old wall
The room. Do quite like the Eastern European bed set up of two singles pushed together with separate duvets.
The Eames chair in the room is a nice touch.
Another schnitzel . Had dinner at a traditional beer hall
Out of here and on my way to NYC
Next stop St Anton part of the Alberg in Austria. Four days skiing in the most perfect conditions. Good snow perfect weather and great food !! Possibly way to much heavy European food but all good. The views were spectacular !!
Rolex and Goyard go well together for Après
Lunch on the mountain
The Gondola structure at the bottom of the mountain. Thought it was pretty cool.
Hospiz Alm St Christoph for lunch
Kaiserschmarrn a traditional delicious desert usually served with a fruit compote and cream. This was flambéed with Grand Marnier.
Down the slide to get to the bathroom
Stuben a small town we skied through
Down town St Anton
Was fun !!
Went to the most quaint Parisienne bistro. Really liked it !! Was so old school.
It’s at 1 Rue Du Mail. Worth checking out.
They brought a plate of radishes with the bread
The side of marrow was a bit much for me
Even though on Rue S Honore it deserves it’s own mention. Spent my time in the accessories store this time …
New Umbrellas in store and can either get the Goyard print on the top or the inside. The print on the inside is very cool !
Belts in black or tan
Heaps of dog stuff
All in all was fun !
Started off with some commercial stuff doing Galleries Lafayette and Citadium. Citadium is a cool concession type store over four floors. All cool youth type brands. It’s kinda like General Pants on roids !! The men’s store at Galleries is also quite a nice experience.
Saint Laurent roller skates …
A quick drop into Kenzo
Then headed to Rue S Honore.
Hermes reptile window
Dropped into Costes for a club sandwich
The crowds at Colette !! Blew me away …
And heaps more stores …
Had a rainy afternoon in Paris. Went to Merci for a long lunch and a bit of a look around. Always a great store to be in.
Then wandered around the Marais for a bit in the pouring rain before heading to Chez Julien for dinner. Chez Julien is a very authentic French bistro. Food was delicious !
And that was about it …
Lovely boutique hotel on Place des Vosges in the Marais.
The very French common area
Da very comfy bed !
There’s a gym and a spa and all in all it works …
